THE COLLEGE

Two terms done and one to go. The College, at this writing, has arrived at another between-terms recess under the new "three-three" plan, and as the snow "line recedes and the duckboards come out of hibernation, there is hardly anyone around to comment on these cheering signs. The students had their second batch of final exams March 16 to 19, then took off on a twelve-day holiday, and were scheduled to be back for springterm registration on April 1. Ahead is an unbroken period of academic work until finals arrive again on June 6. How this inaugural year of the three-term, three-course program has worked out for students and professors is something the MAGAZINE hopes to report on before the publication year ends.
