ALTHOUGH they are becoming Dartmouth alumni, a great many '62 men will go on being students at the postgraduate level, and of these an impressive number will do so as recipients of prize fellowships and grants (see page 39). At this season of fellowship awards the honors do not all go to the seniors, however. President Dickey recently announced that thirteen Dartmouth juniors will be Senior Fellows next year, and he also announced that ten juniors will be interns in public affairs this summer and next fall under the Class of 1926 and Dartmouth Public Service Fellowships.

Israelson, New York City, English; Joel M. Jutkowitz, Yonkers, N. Y., international relations; C. Gregory Knight, Kenmore, N. Y., geography; Carl E. Maves, La Canada, Calif., English; Jon J. Moscartolo, Elizabeth, N. J., art; Kenneth J. Novack, Newton Center, Mass., government; and Steven H. Spahn, Great Neck, N. Y., history.
Fellowships for work in Washington during the summer and fall term have been awarded to Timothy E. Kraft, Noblesville, Ind., who will serve with the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee; Kenneth J. Novack, Newton Center, Mass., U.S. Commission on Civil Rights; and Peter M. Stern, Elkins Park, Pa., National Labor Relations Board.
Summer internships have been awarded to Leslie N. Buch, Brooklyn, N. Y., who will be a Congressional assistant for Rep. Herbert Zelenko, New York; Norman R. Buchsbaum, Mount Vernon, N. Y., and Howard L. Culver, Beverly Hills, Calif., who will serve with the Peace Corps headquarters staff; James M. Friedman, Shaker Heights, Ohio, and Stuart J. Mahlin, Lincoln, Neb., sponsored by the Greater Cleveland Associated Foundation; Steven H. Spahn, Great Neck, N. Y., United Nations Special Fund in New York; and D. William Subin, Ventnor, N. J., Agency for International Development in Washington.
