STAFF CHANGES

J. Michael McGean '49 has been formally named to the post of Director of the Dartmouth Alumni College (see article on page 39) along with his current duties as Associate Secretary of the College. Because Mr. McGean will be devoting more time to Alumni College and related projects and to an expanded film program, David E. Orr '57 will take on added duties in the alumni club program to assist Mr. McGean. Mr. Orr, whose title is now Assistant Secretary of the College, will continue to be responsible for class reunions, newsletters, and other class programs.

Harold N. Moorman A.M. '60, Professor of Military Science and Commander of the Army ROTC unit at Dartmouth from 1956 to 1960, has retired from the Army as a colonel and has joined the College's staff as Assistant Director of the Office of Student Counseling. He will advise foreign students and will coordinate guidance for Dartmouth students studying abroad or undertaking graduate studies away from Dartmouth. Since 1960 the West Point graduate has served in Vietnam, Oklahoma, and Washington, D.C.

John J. O'Connor, recently retired after 20 years in the Navy, including more than twelve in security work, has been named Security Officer for the College. He will be concerned with student conduct and safety and will directly supervise operations of the campus police.
