Dartmouth has recently received $125,851 from the estates of Hayward P. Rolfe '04, Benjamin M. Stout '11, and Gerald S. Stone '20. The Hayward P. Rolfe 1904 Fund for General Purposes has been established in the amount of $95,851.71. Mr. Rolfe was a Boston advertising executive who is quoted as saying: "My best years were the four years at Dartmouth."
The Gerald S. Stone 1920 Fund has been established from his unrestricted bequest of $10,000. Mr. Stone whose professional interest was in china and glassware was with Macy's for 27 years, then U.S. manager for Britain's Johnson Brothers for ten years before his retirement. He had been elected chairman of his class 45th reunion committee.
The Benjamin M. Stout realization of $20,000 has been added to the Benjamin M. Stout 1911 Fund which had been established by an initial realization of $5,000 from his estate in 1960. Mr. Stout was a Chicago lawyer, and at the time of his death he was vice president of his class.
