HOVEY MEMORIAL EVENTS

In honor of the 100th birthday of Dartmouth's "poet laureate," Richard Hovey '85, the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Merrimack County will hold a special luncheon meeting on Wednesday, May 6, at the Highway Hotel in Concord, N. H. George E. Liscomb '07, who has gathered Hovey material for many years, will be the main speaker.

On Sunday, May 10, at 2 p.m. another Dartmouth alumni gathering will take place at Hovey's graveside in the Ridgewood Cemetery, North Andover, Mass. The Rev. Clinton W. Carvell '18 of North Andover will lead the brief ceremony at the spot where a Dartmouth memorial marker was placed in 1957.
