Acting Medical Dean

Dr. Ralph W. Hunter '31, a member of the Hitchcock Clinic, Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine (Neurology) of the Dartmouth Medical School, and a Trustee of the College, is serving as Acting Dean of the Medical School until a new dean takes office. He will exercise the full responsibilities of the dean's office during this interim period, consulting closely with the dean-designate as soon as the appointment is made.

The former dean, Dr. Gilbert H. Mudge, Professor of Experimental Therapeutics, is serving as Acting Chairman of the Department of Medicine, which he was intimately involved in establishing, for the academic year.
