As the Class Bequest Chairman of the Year, Charles E. Brundage '16 was saluted at the annual meeting of Dartmouth class officers in Hanover last month, receiving a copy of the new history of the College and the following citation:

Charles Edwin Brundage of the Class of 1916, your services in the financial world and in community affairs have brought you many honors and the thanks of a host of friends.

This citation, however, is concerned with your long, loyal and very important services to your Alma Mater. A member of the Board of Overseers of the Amos Tuck School, and of the Executive Committee of the Medical School Campaign, your most important work has been in behalf of the Dartmouth Bequest and Estate Planning Program. You have been the Bequest Chairman of your Class of 1916 for almost a decade, and for three years have represented the Bequest Association on the Alumni Council, also serving as the chairman of its Bequest Committee. In the past two years, you were chairman of the CAP A Bequest Study Committee and you recently turned over to the Trustees a detailed, complete, and highly lauded report. You and your good wife Edna have presented to the College the beautiful lodge at the Dartmouth Skiway in memory of your son, Robert Peter Brundage of the Class of 1945.

In 1961 you received the Alumni Award. Now the Association of Bequest Chairmen has picked you for a further citation, and is proud to honor you as Bequest Chairman of the Year.
