A record turnout of young and old Indians and their squaws joined in celebrating Dartmouth Night with banjo music, a closed circuit broadcast of the activities in Hanover, cocktails, and dinner. Many new faces joined the old faithful in this increasingly successful evening.

The fall's activities started with a luncheon for the new freshmen from the Baltimore area. This year's group of new freshmen was unique in that they were all sons of old Indians. John Barry '48, JohnHughes '44, Kenneth Jones '42, and GeorgeSheldon '40 were the proud parents of this most impressive and promising group of new freshmen.

The club is already active in enrollment work under the leadership of Matt Fenton'49. Help is urgently needed to improve our outreach into the numerous new schools in the area. Anyone interested in assisting can contact Matt Fenton at 5802 Kenmore Rd., Baltimore.

Plans for the future activities include a Christmas cocktail party, a spring dinner with a special guest, a football movie smoker, and the annual picnic.
