Trevor Lloyd, a former member of the Dartmouth Faculty who is now chairman of the geography department at McGill University, has been on campus on three separate occasions this fall to conduct seminars in connection with Dartmouth's year-long program on Canada.

Professor Lloyd, an authority on Canada, the Canadian Arctic, and the Arctic in general, spoke to faculty seminar groups on "Water and Water Resources in Canada" and on "U.S.-Canadian Relations as Seen by a Geographer," gave an illustrated public lecture on "Canada Looks Northward," and spoke to several undergraduate classes on Soviet northern sea routes.

Professor Lloyd's visits were sponsored by the Comparative Studies Center, the Geography Department, and the nearby U.S. Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory.
