Welcome to our belated "35th" reunion year and I hope you're planning to be in Hanover next June when we reune with '33, '34, and others. Meanwhile, enjoy a favored position with good seats at football games. Anne and I are planning to attend the Harvard and Princeton games.

Our son, Jim '63, married Claire McCorquodale on Sept. 9 with appropriate Dartmouth witnesses. And so to some of the mail left over since last May. ...

Marv Chandler has also been to all of our reunions, and reminds me that his son Tom graduated in '63.

Walt Langley writes with pride about his teaching family. He teaches English and coaches track at Medford High; his wife Charlotte has been a substitute teacher; his daughter Carol teaches biology at Beverly High; his daughter Arlene is at Salem State Teachers College.

"I would say our foreign policy is getting too big for our britches and we should come home and enjoy life in America," said WinSmover after a five-month junket around the world in which he visited forty countries, including most of Africa, all the Iron Curtain countries, and Vietnam.

Aetna Life and Casualty Company recently released news of a promotion for Daniel Gage to assistant vice president, bond department, casualty and surety division at the home office in Hartford. Dan has been with Aetna since '32, serving in supervisory positions in Bridgeport and Boston prior to returning to Hartford to become assistant manager of the bond department in 1951. Nell and Dan make their home at 64 Mountain Terrace Road in West Hartford. Last we heard from him one of their three daughters was married and there were two grandchildren living nearby to keep the old folks on their toes.

On June 3, Bill Blister's daughter Judith married Ed Marks' son Tom '65. As far as I know, this is a Class of 1932 "first" and can be topped only when the bride has also attended Dartmouth. Judy graduated from U. Penn. No parents were on hand for the weddings: Bill is Capital Development Officer for AID's mission in La Paz, Bolivia, and Ed represents AID at the American Embassy in London. However, the newlyweds honeymooned in England before going to Hanover where Tom played with the Dartmouth Symphony Orchestry. He is now doing graduate work in social psychology at Berkeley.

So much for now - until the news mill starts grinding out more items. Send me a note, and include your plans for reunion.

'32 UP FOR THE "35th" REUNION!
