On July 29 the Dartmouth Club of Cincinnati spent a Saturday afternoon and evening at the Ohio River plantation of LewJohnstone '41. Larry Laster '64 showing the skill acquired from four years' experience tapped the keg and our treasurer, Bob Hartkemeier '49, filled his cup with money. Jack Avril '53 brought a sailboat and Bill Petty '54, our new president, demonstrated some of the finer techniques including how to retrieve a cushion after capsizing in the middle of the Ohio. John Steele '46 provided water skiing for all comers and Sid Miller '24 showed us his 47-foot "High Life" complete with color TV.

The kids swam, rode ponies and a tractor, and had a ball. It was a family type outing and an enjoyable one. Again, our thanks to Lew and Carolyn.
