The spring meeting of the Toledo Club, on May 4, brought together fifty members and guests to hear Gil Tanis '38 speak on campus activities as seen from the President's office. Among those present were Toledo's two representatives to the class of '71, Ron Kusumi and Mike Brooks. Mike and Ron were selected from twenty candidates interviewed by the club officers with valuable assistance from George Read '52,Chuck Darrow '60, and Dick Avery '66.

Steve Hibbs '57 and Jim Woods '48, now with Marathon Oil, drove from Findlay, 0., to attend.

The new officers — Jay Torok '61, president; Bill Green '61, secretary; Jack Witte, treasurer; Ted Harbaugh '35, Scholarship Fund Chairman; and Lyman Bacon '60, Interview Chairman - were introduced.

Also on the club schedule was the annual fall picnic at the Sylvania Country Club on September 7.
