On September 5 the Dartmouth men in Iceland turned out 100% strong to- welcome Professor Robert Decker of the Geology Department and Vice President Emeritus Ortoa Hicks '21. The party was given at the home of Orton Hicks Jr. '49, who moved to Reykjavik last May as Cultural Affairs Officer in the U. S. Information Agency.
The Dartmouth Icelanders in attendance were: Petur Eggerz '53, Vilhjalmur Einarsson '56, Josef and Thora Tliorgeirsson '56, and Gudmundur Adalsteinsson '57 who was accompanied by Miss Hildur Halldorsdottir. The fifth Icelander to attend Dartmouth, Kristinn Haĺgrimsson '57, is now stationed with the International Bank in Washington.
Also on hand in addition to Lois and Janet Hicks were Mr. and Mrs. Ottar Thorgilsson. Mrs. Thorgilsson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter T. Lundergren'21.
