The Dartmouth runners also produced their share of surprises, particularly in their 25-30 victory over Brown which had taken 11 straight dual meets from the Indians since 1955.
Dave Rouse, Mark Hamilton, and Mark Alvarez finished one-two-three against Brown. Rouse, from Canandaigua, N. Y., also won against Columbia, and Alvarez, from Woodbury, Conn., is turning out to be a very pleasant surprise for Coach Ellie Noyes.
