Secretary, 997 Viscount Ct. Avandale Estates, Ga. 30002
Members of the Dartmouth Club of Georgia were treated to a delightful evening at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Ben Read Sr. '32 on Saturday evening, February 21. After an elongated social hour and delicious buffet, the group heard Professor John Rassias of the Romance Languages Department expound on some of the intriguing experiments with which his department is involved both in Hanover and abroad. Professor Rassias was most enthusiastic about his subject and literally hypnotized the assembled husbands and wives who were present. He was kept on his feet long after his formal presentation with a series of questions and it was obvious that people had not been so positively influenced about the Dartmouth scene in some while.
Ben and Polly Read '62 acted as hosts for the affair and couldn't have been more gracious. They were entertaining house guests from Greenville, S. C., the HenryBooths '63. In addition, we had a large representation from the Class of 1943, the Kelly Coffins, Don Crances, and Hud Kings. Also attending were the Larry Russells '54, the Bill Marshes '31, the Charlie Moseses '38, the Walt Bodens '55, the Ira Archers '62, and the Tim Armstrongs '67. This gathering of Dartmouth people in the heart of the Southland will long be remembered.
