APRIL 1970 PAUL V. KAPPEL '63

Secretary, Apt. 95-B, 2260 N. University Blvd. Jacksonville, Fla. 32211

Our Jacksonville Club has had two outstanding functions of late. First was our annual Christmas party with students from the college, prospective students, and our local grand old alumni. The rapport established between these three levels makes always for one of our most outstanding get-togethers and is greatly anticipated each year. This year the event was held high above Jacksonville in the University Club of our new Gulf Life Tower.

Our second event was the annual meeting with Professor John A. Rassias as our guest. This was held at the Florida Yacht Club overlooking the beautiful St. Johns River. Professor Rassias' dynamic presentation was well received and certainly gave tremendous insight into one of the college's aggressive programs. It was reported at this meeting that hard working alumni, through the leadership of Al Seitner '34, have 17 boys with completed applications to the college with two early decisions.

Elected secretary for the coming year is Paul V. Kappel '63 and re-elected president is James L. Howard '53.
