The annual elections of the Mid-Hudson Club were held November 4, 1971 at the Treasure Chest in Poughkeepsie, N. Y. Heading the new slate of officers is Shepherd (Shep) Jackson '55. On the board Will also be Dave Petrie '60, vice treasurer' Dick Welty '61, secretary-

Other items discussed at this meeting were plans for the annual dinner in January and the welcoming new members.

Special recognition was given to Dr. Stephen Rheingold '58 who was recently appointed as the local District Enrollment Director. Also honored was the immediate past president Preston (Mike) Fletcher '55. Mike did an outstanding job in injecting new life into the club. and we will all miss his enthusiastic participation. Mike has been transferred to Springfield, Mass. by IBM where I am sure we will hear a lot more of him.
