Treasurer of the Year

1959's treasurer since graduation. BillDuggan, was named an Officer of the Year at Class Officers Weekend last month in Hanover.

His citation recorded that he had "compiled an admirable record. Consistently 1959 has listed 100 percent membership as subscribers to the Alumni Magazine, a record that can hardly be bettered. Dues paying membership has also been highly consistent, with 1959 holding a highly respectable average of 67 percent since 1964.

"Furthermore, Bill, your treasury steward-ship has continued through two years of Navy service, two years of study at Fordham University School of Law and an office fire two years ago which destroyed, among others, your class records. It is to the credit of the Class and to William Hubert Duggan Jr. that, Phoenix-like, the following year 1959 again compiled statistics like those above.

"Bill, it is a privilege for the College to name you Class Treasurer of the Year."
