A total of 148 alumni, parents, students, and secondary school officials attended the club's 20th annual meeting and book awards banquet April 28 at Storrowton Tavern in West Springfield.

Book awards were given to 14 juniors from secondary schools within the area. In addition, 20 students who have been accepted for the Class of 1980 were introduced. Guest speakers were Jere Daniell '55, professor of history, Peter Maglathlin '78, and Susan Wyka '78.

Officers elected for 1976-77 were: president, Preston B. Fletcher '55; vice president, William P. Ferris '66; secretary, Thomas A. Snow '69; and treasurer, Edward L. Mazer '63.
