Dartmouth debaters captured second and third place at the 1987 national debate championship. Dartmouth's first team of seniors, Craig Budner and Chrissy Mahoney, finished a close second behind the championship team from Baylor University. Dartmouth's second team of juniors, Shaun Martin and Robert Wick, finished third in the tournament.
