An award for 1950's Dr. Calvin Sia. Recently the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services honored representatives from each state for leadership and outstanding service in preventing child abuse and neglect. Pediatrician Sia, Hawaii's champion in the battle against child victimization, received his award from Gov. John Waihee, right.
