Twenty-eight classmates, most with wives, made the trek to Hanover for the early fall mini-reunion. We shall leave Bob Davidson to recount the business of the executive committee meeting and merely list those in attendance. Curt Anderson, Boswell, Bryant, Corner, Dickgiesser, Dudis, Wyman-Emmons, English, Farr,'Goding, Les Graves, Highmark, Hirschland, Jackson,MacMannis, McCarthy, McLauren,Corny Miller, Jim Powers, Prescott, Risley, Rohde, Ruoff, Tomkins, Bill Webster, Winship, and Wolfe. The gathering featured the presentation of the class "Man of the Year" award to Bob Kaiser at the picnic, held as usual in the Kaiser's yard before the interesting but wet game with Penn.

In the continuing saga of artist DickBrooks, we learn that he completed his painting, after extensive research, of an early shipyard in Middle Haddam, Conn. It was unveiled by Governor and Mrs. O'Neill, who had received a print from Brooksy. The governor then presented the artist with the official proclamation of "Connecticut River Shipbuilding Day."

From the other end of the country, DickWoodward writes from Seattle, Wash. "In early September I attended a mini-alumnicollege seminar conducted as part of alumni continuing edcuation at Timberlane Lodge, Mt. Hood, in Oregon. The subject was "Leaders, President, and Kings" with lectures on history and an exploration of logic and strategy of power. About 60 of us reveled in refreshing politics and good humor."

Sadly we recount the death of Jack Cathcart's wife, Ruthie, of cancer in Wilmington on September 18. She had struggled for over a year with the dreaded disease.

Chuck Farnum reports that he can be found at 4237 Old Banyan Way, Sanibel, FL 33957 except for the summer months in Peoria. He, too, says he looks forward to the 50th.

From Dr. John Campbell Osoinach in Arkansas we hear that his granddaughter, Ellen Campbell Osoinach, hopes to be in the Dartmouth class of 1993.

Mike Ellis reports that Moreau Brown crossed the continent to have lunch with him in Ft. Lauderdale in October.

"Elizabeth and I are still going strong as veterinary technician and federal district judge respectively," says Lou Oberdorfer from his home in McLean, Va. "Our extracurricular activities include tennis, skiing (cross country for me), and a book club. Three of four children live in the Washington area. Our daughter is in Denver. We look forward to the 50th."

Once again, Thirty-Nine Out will cover the Charlotte, N.C., outing, but we would like to list the 23 attending, most with their better half, at the win over Davidson: Bachman, Harrison, Loberg, Wolfe, Conkle,Jackson, Ace Bailey, Skip Morse, BobDavidson, Kiefaber, Bob Schwartz,Lansberg, Roy White, MacMannis, Hird,Batchelder, Donovan, Corner, WymanEmmons, Bob Thomas, Kaiser, Diffenbaugh, and Farnell.

We wish you the merriest of Christmases.
