Counsel, Committee on Foreign Affairs, U.S. House of Representatives
Of the many attorneys among Dartmouth alumni, few have had Rudman's diverse training. Among other things, she was an assistant to U.S. Congressman Gerry Studds, was editor-in-chief of Harvard Law School's Human Rights Journal, made two research trips to Israel and the occupied territories, clerked forjudge Stanley Marcus in the Federal District Court of southern Florida, and did education litigation for a large Washington-based law firm. Now she advises the House Foreign Affairs Committee. "I am skeptical of people who have a ten- or 20-year plan," Rudman says. "So far, the piecemeal approach has worked out okay for me."
Rudman nowadvises Congress.
