And you dress up, right?

IN HIS THREE YEARS AT Dartmouth Joshua Drake '08 has not missed a single home football game. The classics major from Spanaway, Washington, claims to have Super Fan-dom in his blood. DAM's Carolyn Kylstra '08 caught up with Drake to learn more about his passion for Dartmouth teams.

How much time do you spend at sporting events?

"I make just about every home game for men's hockey. I made all the home football games, and I make about 50 percent or so of the games for most of the other sports."

"It's pretty much an ensemble of green and white from head to toe. Lately I've been wearing a pair of neon green high-top Converse sneakers. I've got a pair of half-white, half-green shorts over a pair of black sweatpants. I've got a big old green-and-white wig and I've also got a hockey mask with a block letter 'D' on it that I wear to hockey games. I have leis and a green cowbell."

Why do you do it?

"It's probably just in my blood. I was pretty much a Super Fan all throughout high school. Also, it's a way of going out and supporting the students here at Dartmouth

who spend a whole heck of a lot of time practicing. It doesn't hurt that we're playing the evil empires of Harvard and Yale, either. Players I know have expressed their appreciation."

What's next?

"I'm planning on trying to go to a lot of the away men's football games this year. All our away games are pretty close, so that makes travel a lot easier."
