»> Jack Ferraro '67 has earned the Samuel C. Johnson Distinguished Service Award from Cornell University's Johnson School, from which he received an M.B.A. in 1970. A former money manager and partner at N.Y.C.- based Neuberger & Berman, LLC, Ferraro served on the school's advisory council for 20 years and now sits on the advisory board of its Parker Center for Investment Research.
»> Erika Meitner '96, an asso- ciate professor of English at Virginia Tech, has received a Fulbright award to work on a collection of poems and teach creative writing at the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry at Queen's University Belfast for spring 2015. Meitner has pub- lished three books, including Ideal Cities, a National Poetry Series winner in 2009.
»> Elyse Allan '79, Tu'B4, president and CEO of GE Canada, has been appointed a member of the Order of Canada for innovative busi- ness leadership and community engagement.
