Frank M. Howe, who has taught for the past seven years in Montpelier (Vt.) Seminary, has become instructor in science and higher mathematics in Kimball Union Academy, Meriden, N. H.
Dwight B. Rich has been appointed, for a term of two years, the Dartmouth representative on the graduate advisory committee of the New England Intercollegiate Athletic Association. The committee has three members, and at present consists of Dartmouth, Amherst, and Williams graduates.
Paul G. Redington, of the United States Forestry Service, has been designated by his chief to make a thorough investigation into the causes and characteristics of forest fires, and to devise ways and means for an improvement of conditions in the future.
