CLASS OF 1871
Governor Guild of Massachusetts has appointed Jonathan Smith of Clinton judge of the second district court of Eastern Worcester. Judge Smith has been in legal practice in Clinton since 1878, and has "been highly successful in practice. In 1886 he represented his district in the lower house of the state legislature.
