A blurb from the Minnesota Journal of Law and Politics lists Lee Mitau as chairman of the corporate department with Dorsey and Whitney P.L.L.P., specializing in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Lee also spends some professional time on the board of directors of Graco Inc., and as corporate secretary of H.B. Fuller Co.

Chris Kern, chief of the Voice of America's computer services division for the U.S. Information Agency's International Broadcasting Bureau, has received his agency's 1995 Marks Award for Creativity in Communication. The award citation credited Chris for "utilizing the Internet to provide Voice of America voice and audio newscasts, WORLDNET news, and program/frequency material in 15 languages to the more than 32 million users of the global communications service..."

Chris joined the USIA in 1970 as a newswriter for the Voice of America. In 1972 he became the VOA legal correspondent and subsequently served as senior news analyst. In 1984 he became computer technology advisor and has served as chief of computer services since 1986.

Closer to home (at least my home), Perry Craver ran for the charter commission in Londonderry, N.H. I don't know if he won, but if so, he has a thankless job. Small-town New Hampshire politics can really wear on you. Take care and write.
