Walter E. McCormack of Chicago has been appointed an attorney for the United States Interstate Commerce Commission, with the title of special examiner. His headquarters will be in Washington.

Erdix T. Smith, M.D., has been appointed surgeon at the Wesson Memorial Hospital, Springfield, Mass., where he has been assistant surgeon for the past two years.

Allen J. Smith is in the bakery business at Texico, New Mexico.
