CLASS OF 1845
Witter Smith McCurdy was born in New Boston, N. H., April 19, 1817, and died in Lawrence, Kansas, May 7, 1908. Soon after graduation he went West, and the greater part of his long life was spent there, his main occupation being farming. He met with the survivors of his class at their semi-centennial reunion in 1895.
