John C. Hadlock, who has been a practicing lawyer in Boston, has been a patient in the New Hampshire State Hospital at Concord since last April, and is regarded by the physicians at that institution as hopelessly insane.

Robert C. Bacon of Brattleboro, Vt., is the president of the Central New Hampshire Power Company, recently incorporated under the laws of Maine, with an authorized capital stock of $10,000,000 common and $5,000-000 preferred, for the purpose of developing extensive water powers in central New Hampshire. This is the largest water power project in New England and the seventh in size, in the United States.

Rev. Charles A. Jaquith, late of Tabor College, lowa, has become professor of pedagogy in the Maryland State Normal School in Baltimore.

William J. Randall, head football coach, was married to Miss Catherine E. McCann of Chelsea, Mass., in that city on the evening of November 1.
