Dr. Carl Heinrich Kroeber died of tuberculosis in the Loomis Sanitorium, Liberty, N. Y. December 12. He was born m Munich, Bavaria, February 3, 1870. After finishing his course at Dartmouth he went to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New York, and obtained the degree of M. D there also in 1896. He settled, in practice at Yonkers, N. Y.; became vice president of the local medical society; a member of the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital; and had been since 1902 a medical officer of the National Guard of New York, assigned to the Tenth Infantry.
