Fletcher Hale, who practices law in Laconia, N. H., was recently married in Dorchester' Mass.; to Alice N., daughter of Mr and Mrs. George R. Armstrong of Bedford, N.

Maynard Vilas, non-graduate, committed suicide by jumping into the Mascoma river, at Lebanon, N. H., on the afternoon of February 28. He was twenty-seven years old, and the only son of Charles N. Vilas, owner and manager of the Fifth Avenue Hotel, New York. He had been in poor health for some time, and gave evidence of mental derangement.
