In the death of Judge Wallace '67, the College has lost a warm friend and faithful servant, and the State of New Hampshire an able and public-spirited citizen. His services as trustee covered the years from 1906 to 1911. While on the Board he was a member of the committee on education and also of the committee on the relation of College to State. His services to the State were of the same energetic and efficient nature, first as prosecuting officer of the largest county in the state, then as associate justice of the supreme court and when the superior court was established in 1901, he was selected as chief justice of that court as a matter of course. A fuller statement of the activities and interests of Judge Wallace will be found in the necrology of this issue.
