Herbert Greenleaf Coar, Assistant Director of the Course in Evolution. Professor Coar is a graduate of Dartmouth College in the class of 1910, A.M. Dartmouth 1913 and has served as instructor in Biology at Dartmouth, 1910-13, Princeton, 1913-14, and Harvard, 1914-17.
Frank D. Graham, Assistant Professor of Economics. Professor Graham is a graduate of Dalhousie University in 1913, A.M. 1917; Ph.D. Harvard, 1920. He was connected with the Department of Political Science and Economics at Rutgers College as instructor and assistant professor from 1916 to 1920.
Lloyd Preston Rice, Assistant Professor of Economics. Professor Rice is a graduate of Wesleyan University, 1913; A.M. Harvard, 1914; Ph.D. Harvard, 1920. He has been instructor in Economics at Tufts College, 1916-17, Wesleyan University, 1917-19, and associate professor at Wesleyan, 1919-20,

The following men return to the faculty of Dartmouth College after a period of service elsewhere:
Professor Gordon Ferrie Hull, Appleton Professor of Physics, is returning from two years' service with the Government, where he served as Major in the Ordnance Department, acting as Head of the Mathematics and Dynamics Section, Technical Staff, and since his discharge in October, 1919, acting as technical expert in the same department.
Professor Curtis Hidden Page, Winkley Professor of English, also returns after military service as Major in the Ordnance Department, his last position being that of Commanding Officer of the . Penniman General Ordnance Depot.
Mr. Elden B. Hartshorn returns as instructor in Chemistry from service as Ist Lieutenant, Ordnance Department, Chemical Warfare Section. He was stationed in the Research Division of the Chemical Warfare Service at the American University Experiment Station, Washington, D. C.
