Walter A. Snickenberger '46 has been appointed Assistant to President Deane W. Malott of Cornell University and has begun his new duties in Ithaca. A Marine Corps veteran, Snickenberger has been affiliated with the F. S. Webster Co. in Cambridge, Mass., as a sales administrator. He was formerly with the American Sugar Refining Co. in New York
He received the degree of Master of Business Administration from Tuck School in 1948. As an undergraduate he was a Phi Beta Kappa student and was a member of Sphinx and Alpha Delta Phi. He captained the baseball team and played varsity football. During his service in the Marine Corps, he studied at the Naval School of Oriental Languages at the University of Colorado and Oklahoma A. and M.
Mr. Snickenberger is married and the father of a son. His mother, Mrs. Nettie C. Snickenberger, is assistant to the Bursar at Dartmouth.
