DANIEL WEBSTER HONOURED BY GREEKS IN AMERICA

On the occasion of the first hundredth anniversary of Greece as an independent nation a life-size bronze monument of Daniel Webster, of the class of 1801, will be presented to Greece as a gift from the friends and lovers of Greece in America. The statue is to be placed in the front courtyard of the Parliament building in Athens and will commemorate the services of Webster in behalf of Greece.
