"... Not Yet..."

Dartmouth's leadership in alumni fund participation has been undisputed for a great many years, and last year's record of 66.6% of all alumni as fund contributors was a new high mark. But last month Princeton announced at the conclusion of its 1953-54 Annual Giving Campaign that its alumni participation had climbed to 67.5%, "not only a high mark for Princeton, but one which has not yet been equaled by any other alumni group."

The Princeton wording may have derived some of its caution from the fact that Dartmouth's 1954 Alumni Fund results are not yet in. Dartmouth's fund directors are optimistic about recapturing the participation lead between now and June 30.
