Dartmouth's twentieth national fraternity will be installed when Iota Sigma Upsilon becomes the Alpha Theta Chapter of Theta Chi on March 18 and 19. The local organization, which was founded here on March IS of last year, petitioned Theta Chi for a charter last June and the fraternity has just announced favorable action on the request.

Theta Chi, which was founded at Norwich University in 1856, now has chapters at 30 institutions, including M.I.T., Colgate, Pennsylvania, Cornell, Penn State, California and Leland Stanford, Jr. lota Sigma Upsilon, which occupies the old Hazen house next to Phi Sigma Kappa on North Main Street, is at present made up of 28 active members and two faculty members, Professors W. H. Wood and E. B. Woods.
