To be elegible for one of these fellowships the candidate must have a general knowledge of both international law and history and if possible two modern languages. The main requirements of the fellowships are as follows:

1-The student shall pursue his studies in some other institution than that from which he has just graduated.

2-The student shall devote his entire time to the study of international law and related studies.

3—Courses of study must be submitted to and approved by the committee on fellowships.^

4-The student shall report to the committee twice during the year.

Special fellowships of $1000 each will be awarded to teachers in international law, provided they have had at least one year of teaching, or its equivalent, in actual practice.

Applications will be received up to April 15, 1922, by the committee on international law fellowships.
