Arthur H. Chase attended the Shriners' convention in San Francisco early in June. With Mrs. Chase he made an extended trip to the Mediterranean in January.

Judge Leslie P. Snow of Rochester, N. H., was elected president of the State Bankers' Association at their annual meeting held in Concord on March 24.

William M. Hatch returned on May 12 from a trip of three and a half months, during which he visited Manila and Shanghai for extended stays, and the cities of Honolulu, Yokohama, Tokyo, Kobe, Hongkong, and Kulung en route.

At the annual meeting of the New York State Association of County Agricultural Societies, held in Albany, Elmer F. Botsford was elected president for the ensuing year. Mr. Botsford presided at the banquet, at which Governor Miller and the state commissioner of agriculture were the principal speakers.
