CLASS OF 1893

Dr. Perley Oakland Place, head of the department of Latin at the College of Liberal Arts, Syracuse University, has been appointed associate dean of the graduate school for the coming academic year. In announcing the appointment the Syracuse Post-Standard said: "Dr. Place is one of the outstanding men on the faculty of the Liberal Arts college, and has achieved distinction as a student of the classics."

Willis T. Sparhawk's present address is Central Y. M. C A., 1105 Elm St., Cincinnati, Ohio. He is temporarily filling a position in the auditor's department of the Hotel Gibson in that city.
