FRESHMEN WIN ANNUAL FALL INTERCLASS MEET

Piling up 54 points, the freshman class won the annual fall interclass track meet held October 22 on Memorial Field track and in Alumni Gymnasium. The sophomores were second with 33½ points, the seniors took third with 17 points, and the juniors last with 7I/2 points. The meet was held to determine the character of the material for the freshman and varsity track teams for the coming year.

Time, 6 4-5 sec. 220-yard dash—Won by McCall '27, Pepper '27 second, Clokey '27 third. Time, 23 3-5 sec. 440-yard dash—Won by Rose '27, Colladay '26 second, Savage '25 third. Time, 542-5 sec. 880-yard run—Won by Hill '25, Fox '27 second, Swift '27 third. Time, 2 min. 7 3-5 sec. One mile for varsity cross country—Won by Letteney '24, Nazro '24 second, Udall '24 third. Time, 4 min. 18 sec. One-mile for freshman cross counry—Won by Dalrymple '27, Anthony '27 second, Parker '27 third. Time, 4 min. 58 sec. 60-yard high hurdles—Won by Hall '27, Merrill '26 second, Graham '27 third. Time, 8 2-5 sec. 100-yard low hurdles—Won by Merrill '26, Burgert '27 second, Kapitzky '27 third.
