Harvard defeated Dartmouth at soccer, October 26, at Cambridge, by a score of 2 to 1 in the most closely contested game of the Dartmouth season. The Harvard team scored after eight minutes of play in the first period when Brooks, the Crimson center halfback, tallied on a long kick. Wright, of Harvard, duplicated Brooks' feat a few minutes later. Dartmouth's score was registered halfway through the second perod when McKinney kicked the ball from a scrimmage.
Dartmouth and M.I.T. played to a scoreless tie on the Hanover campus, November 3. Both teams played brilliantly but neither was able to secure an advantage though Dartmouth made several thrusts at the visitors' goal in the last moments of play. Rutz was an outstanding player for the visiting team and Captain Hecht and Thayer played well for Dartmouth.
