OUTING CLUB ANNOUNCES WINTER CARNIVAL PROGRAM
February, 1923

The complete program for the 13th annual Winter Carnival has been announced by the Dartmouth Outing Club. The official opening will come at 7.45 on Thursday, February 8, with an assembly on the campus and a torchlight procession to Occom Pond, followed by the usual three-day round of dances, athletic events and entertainment. The program follows:

Thursday.

7.4s — Assembly on Campus for the Official Opening of Carnival. Torchlight Procession to Occom Pond.

8.00 — Skating races and exhibition skating on Pond.

9.oo—lnformal skating, skiing, and tobogganing, fireworks and refreshments. Dancing at fraternity houses.

Friday.

2.30 — Ski and Snowshoe Events on Golf Links.

4.30 — Swimming: M. I. T. vs. Dartmouth.

5.00—Musical Clubs Concert in Webster Hall.

8.30 — Carnival Fancy Dress Ball in Alumni Gymnasium.

Saturday.

1.00 — Hockey Game: M. I. T. vs. Dartmouth. Ski Proficiency and Intercollegiate Relay on Golf Links.

3.00 — Ski Jumping—Ski and Snowshoe Obstacle Races and Exhibition Jumping.

7.00 — Basketball: Harvard vs. Dartmouth.

8.30 — Dartmouth Players, "The Sahara Derby," in Webster Hall.

In case of inclement weather Thursday night the Musical Clubs Concert will be held at 8.30 that night instead of Friday afternoon.
