The Thayer School has also 'held a public exhibition of a series of models illustrating the different processes used in the construction of highways. A separate model is shown for the various types of road. A culvert and a rubber exhibit illustrates the different kinds of fabric used in the manufacture of pneumatic tires. Interesting photographs and descriptive text illustrates the history and development of rubber and its uses in tires.
