Bishop Ethelbert Talbot sailed for England in early July to attend as the presiding bishop of the Protestant Episcopal church in America the consecration of the great cathedral in Liverpool, which has been sixty years in building and is the fourth largest cathedral in Europe. While in England he was the recipient of the degree of Doctor of Divinity from Oxford University.. He returned to America in October.
