Navy A—Dartmouth 1

Against the Middies Coach Dent's team played a far better game than the score indicates. Two of the Navy scores were the result of penalty kicks and another was scored by a Dartmouth player on a fluke. The Green was over-shadowed in the first half but held its own in the second period. Steel and Forrest were the outstanding Dartmouth players.

Although the schedule was completed "with the Navy game the soccer season did not end as Coach Dent will hold daily practice until snowfall. The new Dartmouth mentor believes that a good soccer team can not be developed in the short season which' is customary. Several good players were uncovered this year who will be available next fall when Coach Dent hopes to have his team meet with greater success.
