A welcome word comes from R. H. Carleton as to the participation of 1902 in the great national Pow Wow of Dartmouth men Tield recently in Chicago. Those present were: G. H. Abbott, A. E. Adams (from Minneapolis), N. S. Carley, R. H. Carleton, E. F. Churchill, R. S. Churchill, J. F. Drake (from Pittsburgh), Philip Fox, J. S. Gilman (from Lancaster, N. H.), P- C. Griffin, A. J. Irvin, B. C. Luce (from Detroit), H. P. Stone. "At the closing banquet last evening those of us who sat at the 'O2 table autographed one of the official programs to be sent with our remembrance to Julius Arthur Brown away off in Syria. There were ten names so signed. The Pow Wow was a great success; the addresses on all the activities of the College were just what a lot of us needed and appreciated, and the chance to mingle with men of other classes whom we seldom if ever see and yet with whom. we were intimate in college made most of us resolve to put the future Pow Wows on our engagement lists as items not to be interfered with."

Dr. Arthur H. Ruggles, superintendent of Butler Hospital, Providence, R. 1., has taken up the work of the late Dr. Bancroft as consultant in mental hygiene at Dartmouth, and is to be in Hanover at intervals of two weeks for two-day periods for that work. He is one of the most widely known of American specialists in mental hygiene, rendered distinguished service to three governments during the World War, and was awarded the Croix de Guerre with bronze star.
