The 1907 table at the Pow Wow banquet was firmly of the opinion that the class secretary and the ALUMNI MAGAZINE should be informed of the activities of the class at the first national gathering. The score of the hockey victory over Harvard had just been announced, mighty cheers had awakened old memories, and at that moment of wild enthusiasm I rashly volunteed to dust off the old typewriter and do the job.

Fifteen members of the class were present at the First Annual Dartmouth Pow Wow, held at the Congress Hotel, Chicago, February 22 and 23. Most of the crowd were present at the opening exercises on the morning of the 22nd, and at noon a 1907 luncheon was held at the University Club.

The arrival in the afternoon from Boston of Charley Fassett, laden with many heavy suit cases, was wildly cheered. Many volunteers assisted in his installation in suite B-12, which at once assumed importance as a point of local interest.

A check-up that evening disclosed the fact that Jack Hart of Racine, 40 miles away, was not among those present. Ben Washburn and Harry Kelly 'phoned him, and threatened with the tortures of ancient days in Wheeler and College Hall, he took the first train for Chicago.

A feature of the Pow Wow was the attendance and interest at all the meetings. Every one recognized and appreciated the opportunity to get first-hand information of the College, its condition and activities.

Groups from our class were present at every meeting. We were also together at the Vaudeville Show Friday evening, and the 1907 table at the banquet the following evening was a center of enthusiasm.

The following 1907 men attended the Pow Wow: E. S. Richardson, Oak Park, Ill.; O. C. Davis, East Chicago, Ind.; E. B. Fowler, Oak Park, Ill.; Ivan Greenwood, Cleveland, O.; Herbert Mitchell, La Grange, Ill.; Guy R. Merrill, Cambridge, Mass.; T. T. Redington, Evanston, Ill.; Fritz Luberger, Cedar Rapids, la.; G. H.
